2020 preview: Quin Houff
Quin Houff will start the 2020 season with a guaranteed starting spot in the Daytona 500.
StarCom Racing, entering 2020 in its third full-time season in the NASCAR Cup Series, announced in November of 2019 Houff would replace Landon Cassill as the full-time driver for the team in 2020 and 2021.
Houff, 22, competed in 17 Cup Series races in 2019, making his debut at Phoenix Raceway in March for Spire Motorsports.
Entering the season, Houff’s highest finish in a points-awarding Cup Series race was a 28th-place finish at the 2019 Coca-Cola 600.
In his only season in NASCAR’s premier series, the 22-year-old driver finished 33 in driver’s standings last season.
