“It means a lot, because there was a lot of big names in this event” Malik said. “To say that I was able to come up on top, even with all the yellows, it still means a lot.”
“I was going to be happy with a Top 20 and just not getting wrecked, and I made the right call,” Luza said. “Took two tires early, got up to around 20th, and then we had four tires for the really, really long run. I was just in the right spot at the right time.”
