A.J. Allmendinger shows speed at Nashville
After qualifying fourth for the Tennessee Lottery 250, A.J. Allmendinger picked up the most points he’s scored in a single race across his 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign thus far.

Allmendinger finished the opening two stages in second en route to a seventh-place finish Saturday at Nashville Superspeedway, collecting 48 points โ the most among the competition. It was Allmendinger’s first Top-10 finish in the last four races.
“The most important thing is our Celsius Chevy was pretty quick today,” Allmendinger said. “All we are searching for (is) speed.”

Allmendinger has posted three Top-5 finishes, eight Top-10 finishes, and 32 laps led through the first 17 races of the year.
With nine races left before the playoffs, Allmendinger has an 80-point cushion over the playoff cutline, ranked seventh overall in driver’s points.
Allmendinger’s last victory in the Xfinity Series came at the Nashville in 2023, 19 starts ago for the Kaulig Racing driver.
“We need to keep finding speed,” Allmendinger said. “If we run like we did today at other tracks, the wins will come.”
