Alex Bowman out at Talladega

Alex Bowman will miss the YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, Hendrick Motorsports announced Wednesday, Sept. 29.

The team said in a news release Bowman experienced concussion-like symptoms following a crash at Texas Motor Speedway on Sept. 25.

Bowman is ranked 12th in points, 30 points behind the playoff cutline.

Noah Gragson will drive the No. 48 this Sunday.
