Alex Labbe still working on 2023 plans

He’s raced two times in the Xfinity Series this year, but it may be a while before we see him on track again.
After missing the starting field at Daytona with Mario Gosselin’s DGM Racing, Alex Labbe raced for Rod Sieg’s RSS Racing at Fontana and Las Vegas in the team’s No. 28 entry, but has nothing lined up at this time.
“Still got nothing planned,” Labbe said to The Racing Experts. “I’m working on Richmond, maybe, but that’s about it.”
Labbe has competed in 140 NASCAR Xfinity Series races, making his series debut in 2016. Labbe made all but two of his starts with team owner Mario Gosselin from 2016 to 2022.
Labbe has netted 1 Top-5 finish and 13 Top-10 finishes, with his highest finish coming at the Charlotte Road Course event in 2020 where he finished fourth.
“Definitely wish I could go to COTA, because COTA is one of my favorite tracks,” Labbe said. “I feel like it’s one of my top-two, top-three tracks, it is what it is.”
