Allgaier, Zilisch match times en route to top five starts at Phoenix Raceway
AVONDALE, Ariz. โ Justin Allgaier and Connor Zilisch will start fourth and fifth in this evening’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship race at Phoenix Raceway.

The pair clocked the same exact time of 27.644 around Phoenix Raceway. In this instance, the tie goes to the driver with the most playoff points.
Therefore, Zilisch will lead his fellow Championship 4 competitors from the second row while Allgaier gets relegated to the third row.
Jesse Love joins his Championship 4 rival Allgaier in row three, as he starts sixth (27.651) in his quest to the Xfinity Series title.
While those three start right next to each other, Carson Kvapil will have to play some catchup.
After piping the throttle out of turn 2, Kvapil will start last of his fellow Championship 4 competitors. His 27.842 time secures his 14th starting position.

But, it was Joe Gibbs Racing who stole the show this session. They will lockout the front row. Brandon Jones (27.490) will start from the pole with Taylor Gray (27.593) beside him in second.
Sheldon Creed (27.639) starts third with his newfound teammate Ryan Sieg (27.802) in tenth.
Sieg, who celebrates his 400th career Xfinity Series start, fills in for the suspended Sam Mayer, who failed to advance to the Championship 4 last week at Martinsville.
Sieg commented “It’s good to see where our equipment (RSS Racing) matches up with the other Ford’s”.
Aric Almirola and Austin Hill are both eligible for the Xfinity Owners title tonight. They start seventh and 16th respectively.
We’re now set to crown a champion for the final Xfinity Series titled event tonight.
