Beard Motorsports expands Cup schedule, tabs Jesse Love
Beard Motorsports is adding multiple NASCAR Cup Series races to its schedule with Jesse Love behind-the-wheel of its No. 62 Chevrolet.

The Michigan-based team will attempt races at Texas in May and Indianapolis in July, Beard Motorsports announced Wednesday (April 16).
โWe are very excited to be able to expand our racing program and visit tracks that our new to us,โ said Aime Beard-Deja, co-owner of Beard Motorsports, in a press release.
โWhen my dad started this program we wanted to focus on the superspeedways. Our plan was to make that our niche and to do it well and we feel like we have been able to do that very thing.โ
Love made his NASCAR Cup Series debut at Bristol Motor Speedway, racing the Richard Childress Racing No. 33 entry. The 20-year-old driver qualified 19th and finished 31st, five laps down.

“Making my Cup Series debut last week at Bristol was a moment that I had been working towards my entire life,โ Love said in a press release.
โThanks to the Beard family, Iโll have a chance to at least do it a couple more times this season. The goals are to keep collecting experience and learning the Cup car.โ
The team has made select starts over the years, a majority coming on drafting tracks, since its debut in 2017.
Brendan Gaughan was the first driver for the team, racing mostly superspeedway-style tracks through 2020.
The team’s highest finish in its 30 starts came at Daytona in August of 2022; a fifth-place effort from Noah Gragson.
The team’s most recent attempt came at the 2025 Daytona 500, where Anthony Alfredo failed to qualify for The Great American Race.
