Brad Keselowski is now in sole possession of 24th all-time on the NASCAR Cup Series wins list.
Keselowski secured his fourth win of 2020 and 34th of his Cup Series career Saturday September 12th, at Richmond Raceway.
Keselowski was previously tied with Fireball Roberts on the series’ wins list.
“I try not to stare at the stats because I try not to let them be the motivator,” Keselowski said to The Racing Experts. “I try to find better motivators than that, but they’re certainly cool to hear.”
In 2020, other races the Team Penske driver won are the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte in May, Bristol in May and New Hampshire in August.
Since the beginning of the season, Keselowski has passed Kurt Busch, Dale Jarrett and Fireball Roberts on the wins list.
The next five drivers ahead of Keselowski on the wins list are Bobby Isaac (37), Matt Kenseth (39), Tim Flock (39), Mark Martin (40) and Denny Hamlin (43).
“I’ve got a long ways to go to catch up to a lot of the greats in the sport,” Keselowski said.
“I really wish I was winning five to ten races a year because that’s what it’s going to take to do that, but I’m trying to also be grateful for what I have and to have won four races to date this year.”
