Brandon Jones nets first career Xfinity Series win

KANSAS CITY, Kan — Brandon Jones has become the 161st winner in the history of the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
Jones, 22, led the final 10 laps Saturday (October 19) in the Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway
“The thing that was going through my mind today, (like) last year, you had a bunch of good cars at the start of the race get taken out, and that right there went through my head,” Jones said to The Racing Experts.
“…It just all fell into play there for us.”

The win was the first for Jones in 134 starts in the series and his first NASCAR national-series victory.
Jones is ranked 12th in points with three races left in the season. 2019 has featured one win, five top-five finishes, 14 top-10 finishes and 104 laps led.

Jones joins Michael Annett (Daytona in February) and Austin Cindric (Watkins Glen in August) as first-time winners in NXS competition in 2019.
The next race for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is scheduled for Saturday, November 2 at Texas Motor Speedway.
