CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Our Motorsports officially announced Monday the team has parted ways with longtime driver Brett Moffitt.

The team confirmed Saturday’s Pennzoil 150 at the Brickyard marked Our Motorsports’ last race with Brett Moffitt as they mutually agreed to part ways.

“In 2020, Chris Our came to me to race the first four races of the season to get his new NASCAR Xfinity Series team off the ground,” Brett Moffitt said. “Over two years later, I’ve had the opportunity to watch this team grow into a three-car organization. Our Motorsports is like family to me, and I cannot thank them enough for the opportunity over the past few years together.”

Our Motorsports made its NXS debut with Brett Moffitt in February 2020 at Daytona International Speedway. Moffitt scored two top-5 finishes and 21 top-10s in 80 starts for the team between the February Daytona race and Saturday at Indianapolis.

“Brett has been with us from the inception of our NASCAR Xfinity team and I can’t thank him enough for his efforts over the past three years,” said team owner Chris Our.  “We wish nothing but the best for Brett and his family.”

According to the team, a replacement driver for Moffitt will be named in the near future. No word on Moffitt’s future plans.
