Briscoe edges teammate Bell in photo-finishing win at Charlotte
CONCORD, N.C. — Chase Briscoe edges out teammate Christopher Bell in photo-finishing win in the Bank of America 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
This is his third win this season and his eighth career NASCAR Cup Series victory overall.

What a win for the 2026 intermediate-king Briscoe. All three of his victories have come on the track type as he nets his second consecutive win in as many weeks.
His .029 margin of victory is the closest this season and the second-closest result in Charlotte’s history.
After practice and qualifying were rained out for the fourth time already in the Chase, the metric set the grid. Because of his win at Las Vegas Briscoe sat on the outside pole.
From their he ran second throughout the first stage for nine stage points. In the second stage, he was shuffled further back in the top ten for seventh in the stage.
His race seemed destined for only a top ten run. But a great pit stop during the final stage caution allowed Briscoe to return to the top five.
Gray Gaulding brought out the final caution of the day with over 65 laps remaining. There, Briscoe capitalized on the final restart of the day to retake the lead.
