Carl Edwards joins NASCAR on Prime Video
NEW YORK — Prime Video will have Carl Edwards as a studio analyst for its inaugural season of NASCAR Cup Series coverage.

Edwards will join Danielle Trotta and Corey LaJoie in the studio for Prime Video’s pre- and post-race studio show.
Prime Video also named Trevor Bayne, Kim Coon and Marty Snider as its pit reporters.
“We’re thrilled to introduce Carl, Trevor, Kim, and Marty to our NASCAR on Prime Video team,” said Alex Strand, Sr., coordinating producer at Prime Video. “Carl’s Hall-of-Fame career, combined with the extensive experience of Trevor, Kim, and Marty, bring an unparalleled authenticity to our coverage. Their deep knowledge and genuine passion will resonate with fans and elevate the NASCAR viewing experience. We look forward to showcasing our entire announce team when we debut in just a few short months.”
Prime Video previously named Adam Alexander, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Steve Letarte to the booth. They will call the May 25 Coca-Cola 600, the June 1 race at Nashville SS, the June 8 race at Michigan, the June 15 race in Mexico City and the June 22 race at Pocono with Edwards a part of the broadcast.

After suddenly retiring from NASCAR in 2016, Edwards maintained a low profile, only showing up to a race weekend at Texas Motor Speedway in 2018. Edwards was at Darlington Raceway in May 2023 when they formally recognized him and the other 75 Greatest NASCAR Drivers. He even joined the FS1 booth to call some laps and talk about how life had been.
Edwards said he was nervous to come back but was happy with the warm welcome back.
A year later, NASCAR Hall of Fame named Edwards to its 2025 class, enshrined in February.
Edwards has called races on occasion in the past. ESPN had him in the booth for their NASCAR Xfinity Series coverage during their 2007-14 run.
