Edwards, Moody, Rudd named to 2025 NASCAR Hall of Fame class

Carl Edwards, Ralph Moody, and Ricky Rudd will make up the 2025 class for the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
NASCAR announced the class Wednesday, May 21, via NASCAR.com at the Great Hall within the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Carl Edwards and Ricky Rudd will make up the Modern Era Ballot. Ralph Moody will represent the Pioneer Ballot.

Edwards won 28 NASCAR Cup Series races. He also claimed the 2007 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship.
Ralph Moody was a two-time NASCAR Cup Series owner champion. Moody was one half of the iconic duo of Holman-Moody.
Ricky Rudd won 23 times in the NASCAR Cup Series, racing in 906 Cup Series points-awarding races.
NASCAR announced the 10-man shortlist of nominees on April 24.
With the induction of the 2025 class, the three-man roster will bring the total NASCAR Hall of Fame members to 64.
The nominees will be formally inducted on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025.
Additionally, Dr. Dean Sicking was named as the Landmark Award winner for his contributions to the sport. Dr. Sicking helped with the creation of the SAFER barrier.
Announced in 2009, the first class was inducted in 2010. That class included father-and-son duo Bill France Sr. and Bill France Jr., along with a pair of seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champions in Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty, and long-time racer and team owner Junior Johnson.
The Hall added five members from 2010 through 2020. The 2021 class and classes beyond featured three members.
NASCAR did not hold a ceremony in 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
