AVONDALE, Ariz. — Justin Allgaier, Christopher Bell, Cole Custer, Tyler Reddick will battle for the 2019 Xfinity Series championship next Saturday (November 16) at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Bell was the only driver who was locked into the Championship 4 via his win at Texas Motor Speedway last week.

The three other drivers — Justin Allgaier, Cole Custer and Tyler Reddick — clinched via their finishing positions Saturday (November 9) in the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 200 at ISM Raceway.

Custer will compete for his first Xfinity Series title in his third full-time season.

This season will mark the 21-year-old driver’s second straight appearance in the Championship 4.

“I was happy with our day,” Custer said. “I’m looking forward to Homestead, been really fast there the last two years, just need to put the whole race together.”

No. 2 Tyler Reddick
Reddick will look to defend his title, this time with Richard Childress Racing.

Reddick is the only driver of the four that is a past champion of the series, claiming the title last season with JR Motorsports.

“More than anything, it is one of the more fun race weekends, regardless if we race for a title or not,” Reddick said.

No. 7 Justin Allgaier
Allgaier earned his first win of 2019, propelling the JR Motorsports driver to the Championship 4.

This year will be Allgaier’s first Championship 4 appearance since 2017 and third overall.

“I was worried about the points,” Allgaier said. “…Ultimately, we went caution free there, and that was the difference maker for us.”

Bell will be making his second straight appearance and second overall in the Championship 4.

The Joe Gibbs Racing driver leads the Xfinity Series field in wins this season with eight overall.

“I feel really good about it,” Bell said. “We’ll bring a really fast piece there. I can’t wait.”

FAILING TO ADVANCE
Michael Annett, Chase Briscoe, Austin Cindric and Noah Gragson all failed to advance to the Championship 4 round.

NEXT WEEK
The Ford EcoBoost 300 will be televised on NBC Sports Network next Saturday, November 16 at 3:30 p.m. ET.
