Chase Elliott Top-10 skid continues at Phoenix
AVONDALE, Ariz. — Chase Elliott has yet to finish Top-10 in a Cup Series race in 2024.

Despite strong qualifying runs and collecting stage points in every one of the four races this year, Elliott’s highest finish is 12th (Las Vegas last week).
Chase Elliott 2024 finishes are 14th, 15th, 12th, and 19th.

The Hendrick Motorsports driver now has extended his streak of finishing outside the Top-10 to eight consecutive starts.
Elliott’s last Top-10 finish came at the Charlotte Road Course (ninth place) in October 2023.
Yet, Elliott is ninth in points, 39 points ahead of the playoff cutline.
The 2020 series champion’s last victory came at Talladega Superspeedway in October 2022. Elliott’s winless streak sits at 38 races.

During his Cup Series tenure, which has included nine full-time years, Elliott has never gone more than eight races without a Top-10 finish.
Elliott has gone eight straight races without a Top-10 before, a streak that last happened during his 2016 Rookie-of-the-Year season.
The next race is scheduled for Bristol Motor Speedway on Sunday, March 17. Elliott has yet to win at Bristol, but has posted 4 Top-5 finishes and 7 Top-10 finishes in 13 races.
