Chris Buescher to miss Daytona 500 practice
Chris Buescher will miss Daytona 500 practice as he will return to North Carolina to be with his wife for the birth of their second child.

David Ragan will run limited laps in the No. 17 Fastenal Ford that Buescher will race Sunday. Ragan will also run laps in his No. 60 BuildSubmarines.com Ford.
This is the second NASCAR Cup Series points race in a row where an RFK Racing driver will miss a session to be present for the birth of their child.
At Phoenix, Cole Custer qualified in Brad Keselowski’s car after Keselowski went home to be with his wife for the birth of their child.
Keselowski placed ninth in stage two and finished 15th in that race.
Buescher will still start 19th Sunday in the Daytona 500.
