Christopher Bell Leads Charge to Las Vegas Pole
LAS VEGAS — Christopher Bell continues to set the pace in NASCAR Cup Series qualifying.

Bell laid down a 29.980-second lap-time (186.335 mph) Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to capture the pole for Sunday’s South Point 400. It is his sixth pole of 2023 and fourth of the 2023 playoffs.
Bell now has 10 career NASCAR Cup Series poles, all since the start of 2022, and leads all drivers for poles in the Gen 7 car.
“We’ve done really well,” Bell said to The Racing Experts in reference to that. “My engineer, my crew chief, do a great job of getting my balance close.”

Bell will start alongside playoff driver Kyle Larson (28.990 seconds) on the front row.
William Byron (P), Martin Truex Jr. (P), and Chris Buescher (P) rounded out the Top-5 qualifiers.
