Christopher Bell on pole for Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS — Christopher Bell will lead the field to the green flag in Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Christopher Bell’s lap time of 29.755 seconds was enough to earn the Joe Gibbs Racing driver his first NASCAR Cup Series pole ahead of his 75th career start.

Bell is the 231st different driver to earn a pole in NASCAR’s top series.

Defending race winner Kyle Larson will join bell on the outside front row.

Austin Cindric, Chase Briscoe and Chase Elliott will round out the Top-5 starters.

The Pennzoil 400 is scheduled for Sunday, Mar. 6 at 3:30 p.m. ET with live television on FOX.
