Coca-Cola 600 sells out for second straight year

CONCORD, N.C. — Track officials said Tuesday reserved grandstand seating and camping for the May 28 Coca-Cola 600 is sold out.

Charlotte Motor Speedway says “only a limited number” of standing-room-only and premium terrace box tickets remain for the 600-mile race.

Last year, the track announced a sellout for the Coca-Cola 600. The year before, the track posted a near-sellout just a year after having no fans in attendance.

This season, the Daytona 500 and the spring Phoenix race also boasted sellout crowds. North Wilkesboro also boasted a near-sellout crowd.

The track says fans from across the U.S. and 18 foreign countries, including Tanzania and Australia, bought tickets to the Coca-Cola 600.
