Currently in the NASCAR Cup Series, the maximum amount of points you can score per race (with an exception in the Coca-Cola 600) is 76 points. Winning a race gives you 55 points, while winning both stages adds on 20 points. But since 2025, NASCAR has awarded an additional point through the Xfinity Fastest Lap.

Blaney did not score the fastest lap of the race, coming up one point short of a perfect race. Ware, who sits last in points among this years full-time drivers got the fastest lap point. He set a best lap of 29.905 seconds and 185.387 miles per hour on lap 236.

Ware finished the race in 32nd, four laps down. He becomes the 25th different driver to get the bonus point since it was introduced last year.
