CONCORD, N.C. — Connor Zilisch will attempt to make his NASCAR Cup Series debut with Trackhouse Racing at Circuit of the Americas in March.

Zilisch will attempt to make the March 2 race at COTA in a No. 87 Chevrolet with sponsorship from Red Bull.

“I never thought I’d get the opportunity to race in the NASCAR Cup Series, let alone debut at 18 years old. I’m so fortunate to be surrounded by great companies like Red Bull and Trackhouse. COTA is only 38 days away, let’s go!” Zilisch said on social media Thursday.

“Red Bull and Trackhouse share a passion for racing, stories, and memorable experiences. This is a huge win for our sport and a moment that will resonate with the millions of NASCAR fans around the world. I’m thrilled for Connor, Shane, and every member of Trackhouse to partner with who I consider to be the greatest motorsport company in the world. We are more than honored to welcome Red Bull to the Trackhouse Racing family,” said Justin Marks, the owner of Trackhouse Racing.
