Conor Daly’s next NASCAR start could happen in March

While Conor Daly may not have gotten the finish he wanted in the 65th Daytona 500, it may not be the last time we see him in a Cup car this year.
Daly finished 29th, 6 laps down, after racing his No. 50 TMT Racing Chevrolet into the 500. It was his second-ever Cup start and his third may be coming soon.
“I don’t know at the moment,” Daly said to The Racing Experts. “I think we’re going to go to COTA, and that’s about as far as I know.”
Daly’s Cup debut was in the No. 50 last October at the Charlotte Roval. The 31-year-old INDYCAR veteran finished 34th.
TMT also made its Cup debut last season, in the Daytona 500 with driver Kaz Grala. Grala also qualified the No. 50 into the Circuit of the Americas race in March and the Coca-Cola 600 in May.
