Daniel Dye to Xfinity full-time in 2025

LEXINGTON, N.C. — Daniel Dye will move up to the NASCAR Xfinity Series full-time with Kaulig Racing in 2025.

Dye will race the No. 10 car full-time. He will move up from the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, where he qualified for the playoffs this season.

This season, Dye has two Top-10 finishes in seven starts in the No. 10 car.

“I’ve really enjoyed driving the Xfinity car this year. And I’m excited for the opportunity to continue working with Kaulig Racing in 2025,” he said. “It’s been a fun experience learning the car and trying to navigate the different feeling compared to the truck. I’m looking forward to finishing out the season, running for the Truck Championship and making the most of my remaining races in the No. 10.”

Dye has three more starts in the No. 10 this season – Kansas in September, Las Vegas in October and Phoenix in November.

“Daniel [Dye] has done a really great job for our team this season,” team president Chris Rice said. “He is invested in our program and putting in the time and effort to keep getting better. I’ve been able to spend a lot of time with him throughout the season, and we’re looking forward to having him with us full time in 2025.”

Kaulig Racing will announce partnership details for the No. 10 team at a later date.

During the announcement Friday, Chris Rice confirmed Josh Williams will return to the No. 11 Xfinity Series car. They are still looking for a driver for their other Xfinity Series car next season.

Next season, A.J. Allmendinger will move from the No. 16 Kaulig car in the Xfinity Series to the No. 16 Kaulig car in the Cup Series.

Shane van Gisbergen is the only other Xfinity Series driver but rumors indicate he will also move up to the Cup Series next season. Nothing is confirmed yet, however.
