David Starr to run Nashville with Emerling-Gase, new sponsor

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. — David Starr will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series return at Nashville Superspeedway with Emerling-Gase Motorsports and a new sponsor.

Starr will attempt his first Xfinity Series race since Talladega in April. It’ll also be his first attempt with Emerling-Gase.

The Texan’s No. 35 Chevrolet Camaro will sport Kales Truck and Heavy Equipment’s colors in the June 24 Tennessee Lottery 250.

Kales has 36 locations nationwide but has never sponsored NASCAR before.

It is inspiring to see how far they have come from a small business to where they are today. I’m excited to have them on board for the ride and help share their story to NASCAR fans across the country,” David Starr said.

Starr began the season driving Our Motorsports’ No. 02 Chevrolet at Daytona and Auto Club Speedway. He finished 22nd on the lead lap and 35th, two laps down, respectively.
