Daytona 500 postponed until Monday
The 62nd Daytona 500 has been postponed until 4pm EST Monday, February 17 (TV: FOX; Radio: MRN).
After a just over one hour rain delay, the 62nd Daytona 500 got underway with Ricky Stenhouse Jr leading the field. Stenhouse lead the opening 20 laps when a caution fell for rain which led to the eventual postponement of the race.
After 20 laps, the top 10 is as follows: Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Joey Logano, Aric Almirola, Ryan Newman, Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, William Byron, Jimmie Johnson, Ty Dillon, Timmy Hill.
Fan favorites Matt Dibenedetto and Chase Elliott currently run 13th and 14th.
Championship Four drivers Martin Truex Jr, Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin run 31st, 32nd and 35th respectively.
TV coverage of the remaining 180 laps in the 62nd Daytona 500 is set to begin at 4pm EST and the race itself will resume shortly thereafter.
