HOMESTEAD, Fla.—As the 2015 Sprint Cup Series season comes to a close, some drivers’ future plans are still uncertain, or in doubt.
While a formal announcement has not been made, one driver anticipates to be back with his current team. Matt DiBenedetto, who drives the No. 83 Toyota, expects to be back with BK Racing next season.
DiBenedetto, who is also a rookie-of-the-year contender this season, sits four points behind fellow candidate Brett Moffitt. Sunday afternoon will be the final race of the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Whether he wins or loses the rookie battle, the first-year driver expressed positive thoughts.

“Wonderful, I couldn’t be happier, honestly,” he said on assessing his rookie season. “I ended last year not knowing—I thought I was going to be done racing for life, have to go get a job and be done. It was a blessing to be able to just drive a race car this year.”
In 32 races this season, DiBenedetto has been the highest finishing rookie 13 times. He sits 35th in driver points entering this weekend’s race.
“I love working with everyone at BK Racing and I’m glad that they like me being there,” he said.
