Erik Jones wins Busch Clash

Erik Jones claimed victory in the Busch Clash at Daytona Sunday (Feb. 9)

Leading one lap and surviving three rounds of NASCAR overtime, the victory at Daytona International Speedway was Jonesโ€™ first in the season-opening exhibition race for the Cup Series.

Austin Dillon, Clint Bowyer, Kyle Larson and Ryan Newman rounded out the top-five finishers.

Eighteen drivers started the race, six finished.

Defending Clash winner Jimmie Johnson crashed out in the first overtime, finishing 11th.

Defending series champion Kyle Busch finished 18th (last) after crashing out on lap 65.

The Busch Clash field featured 2019 NASCAR Playoff drivers along with past Busch Clash winners, Daytona 500 champions and Daytona 500 pole sitters if the drivers competed full time last year.
