Fenhaus fares best in NASCAR Truck qualifying at Michigan
BROOKLYN, Mich. — Wisconsin’s Luke Fenhaus had to go to a neighboring state to do it but he earned his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole Saturday at Michigan International Speedway.
Fenhaus beat Michigan native Carson Hocevar for the opportunity to lead the field to the green flag in Saturday’s race. Fenhaus ran a lap around the two-mile, D-shaped oval in 39.236 seconds.

“It really shows how fast ThorSport’s trucks are. It’s a dream come true to race these trucks and it wouldn’t be possible without SodaSense, Duke and Rhonda Thorson. They gave me a fast race truck. I hope we can go out, lead some laps and contend for the win.”
ThorSport Racing saw all five of its trucks slot in the top-10 in qualifying:
- Luke Fenhaus
- Carson Hocevar
- Matt Crafton
- Jake Garcia
- Jack Wood
- Ty Majeski
- Corey Heim
- Connor Mosack
- Ben Rhodes
- Tyler Ankrum
