Freedom 250 Grand Prix to be held in Washington

The NTT IndyCar Series will race on the streets of Washington D.C. later this year, The White House announced Friday (Jan. 30).

President Donal Trump signed an Executive Order, โ€œlaunching the Freedom 250 Grand Prix of Washington D.C.โ€

The race, corresponding with the 250th birthday of the United States, will take place Aug. 21-23.

Details of the course and length were not immediately shared.
