Front Row Motorsports announces 2021 lineup

Front Row Motorsports announced their 2021 driver lineup for their NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series entries Wednesday morning.
Michael McDowell will return to drive the No. 34 Ford Mustang full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series while Todd Gilliland will return to drive the No. 38 Ford F-150 full-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Joining McDowell in the Cup Series will be Anthony Alfredo, who will drive the No. 38 Ford Mustang full-time. Alfredo will make his Cup debut in the Daytona 500, marking the start of his first full-time season in any of the top three NASCAR national series.
“This is really an unbelievable moment,” Alfredo said. “When you start out racing karts as a kid, you dream of making it to the sport’s top level. I want to thank Bob Jenkins and everyone at Front Row Motorsports for making this dream a reality. I know the challenges ahead, but I’m here to work hard and prove myself.”
Alfredo made 19 Xfinity starts, all coming in 2020 driving for Richard Childress Racing. Alfredo scored two Top 5s, nine Top 10s, 15 laps led and an average finish of 12.6. Alfredo also made 13 Truck starts, all coming in 2019 driving for David Gilliland Racing. Alfredo scored 2 Top 10s, three laps led and an average finish of 18.8.
Seth Barbour will return to crew chief the No. 38 team as Alfredo takes over driving duties. Drew Blickensderfer will also return to crew chief for Michael McDowell while Chris Lawson will also return to crew chief for Todd Gilliland.
David Ragan will also return to pilot a third FRM entry, a No. 36 Ford Mustang, in this year’s Daytona 500. Derrick Finley will crew chief for Ragan as they look to back up Ragan’s fourth-place finish in last year’s Daytona 500.
FRM’s partners will be announced ahead of the Daytona 500 (Feb. 14, 2:30 p.m. ET; TV: FOX, Radio: MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) and as the season progresses.
