Greg Biffle Tribute Exhibit Now Open at RFK Racing
CONCORD, N.C. — RFK Racing unveiled an exhibit in their museum that honors Greg Biffle, their longtime NASCAR Cup Series driver who died in a plane crash in December.
RFK Racing dedicated a part of their museum to some of their most iconic moments and wins with Biffle. They touted the new display in a social media post Monday.

“We’ve added a heartfelt new display to the RFK Racing museum. In honor of Greg, we’re highlighting some of his remarkable achievements with our team — including the iconic No. 16 that secured Ford’s 1,000th victory in NASCAR — and a special tribute to the legendary Biff. All are welcome to stop by our museum and celebrate the legacy of Greg Biffle,” the team stated.
Among the memorabilia are artifacts from their Cup Series win together at Michigan in June 2013. It was Ford’s 1,000th win in NASCAR and ultimately Biffle’s 19th and final Cup win.

The new exhibit features the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion that Biffle wheeled to the 2013 Michigan win. It also features a marker with a team picture in victory lane with the text, “1,000 NASCAR wins Ford Racing.”

Just behind that is a bottle of champagne from Biffle’s May 13, 2006 NASCAR Cup Series win at Darlington Raceway. Biffle started ninth that night and took the lead for the first time on lap 36. He exchanged the lead with Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth and Jimmie Johnson before holding off a hard-charging Jeff Gordon by just 0.209 seconds to win.
That night, Biffle led 170 of 367 laps en route to his 10th career win.

RFK Racing also featured the trophy Biffle received for winning the April 2012 Samsung Mobile 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
The race was notable for its torrid pace. With just two cautions slowing only 10 of the 334 laps run and the final 234 laps running without a caution, the race’s average speed was 160.577 mph. Biffle tracked down Jimmie Johnson, who led 156 of the first 303 laps, and led the final 31 laps to score his 17th win.

The exhibit also features bouquet of heart-shaped roses placed at RFK Racing in honor of the beloved driver named, “The Biff.”

Greg Biffle died Dec. 18 in a plane crash that claimed the lives of his wife, his son, his daughter and three friends who were onboard. Biffle was 55 years old.
