Daniel Hemric returns to Truck Series in 2025
Daniel Hemric will compete for a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series title in 2025.

Hemric will pilot the No. 19 Chevrolet for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing, replacing Christian Eckes who will move to the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Kaulig Racing, MHR announced Wednesday (Nov. 20).
โThis is a great opportunity for me to compete for wins and chase another championship,โ Hemric said in a news release. โThanks to Bill McAnally, Bill Hilgemann, NAPA, Chevrolet and everyone involved for the opportunity.โ
Hemric will race for a team that featured Eckes winning eight races over the last two seasons and a Championship 4 appearance last month.

โTo see what weโve built over the years is incredibly special,โ team owner Bill McAnally said in a news release. โDaniel has a wealth of experience in all three national series and can perform in the big moments, so we canโt wait to continue our teamโs success with him behind the wheel.โ
The 33-year-old driver returns to the series full-time for the first time since 2016. In his total 50 starts, Hemric has never won in the series, but has posted 15 Top-5 finishes (including two second-place finishes), 30 Top-10 finishes, and 137 laps led.
Hemric spent the 2024 season racing in the NASCAR Cup Series for Kaulig Racing, posting four Top-10 finishes en route to a 29th-place points finish.

Prior to that, Hemric raced full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Joe Gibbs Racing in 2021, securing the series championship that season. The Kannapolis, North Carolina native then raced two full-time seasons for Kaulig Racing in the series.
Other accolades include the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series Rookie-of-the-Year award.
