NASCAR national series schedules and start times for 2025
NASCAR on Thursday released the schedules for the 2025 Cup, Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series seasons.


The L.A. Memorial Coliseum and Richmond Raceway will each lose a NASCAR Cup Series date. The Clash is moving to Bowman Gray Stadium and the second Richmond date is going to Autódromo Hermanos Rodriguez (Mexico City).
Out of the playoffs are Atlanta, Watkins Glen and Homestead-Miami. In are World Wide Technology Raceway, New Hampshire and Darlington.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series and Craftsman Truck Series will each return to Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina. Lime Rock Park and and the Charlotte Roval will also be on the NCTS schedule for the first time.
Here are the NASCAR national series schedules for 2025:
2025 NASCAR Cup Series schedule

WWT Raceway has never been in the playoffs. New Hampshire was in from 2004-17.
Talladega is also in the Round of 8, meaning a driver could win there to get into the Championship 4.
2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule

Rockingham (N.C.), Mexico City and WWT Raceway were on the schedule from 1982-2004, 2005-08 and 1997-2010, respectively. They are back for 2025.
Richmond and New Hampshire are off the schedule while Darlington is down to one date.
All the races will air on The CW.

2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule

Fan favorite Lime Rock Park is on for the first time ever, as is Charlotte Roval. It marks how 2025 has one of the most interesting NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedules in recent memory.
Rockingham, New Hampshire, Michigan and Watkins Glen are also back after previous stints on the schedule:
- Rockingham: 2012-13
- New Hampshire: 1996-2011, 2014-17
- Michigan: 1999-2000, 2002-20
- Watkins Glen: 1996-2000, 2021
Meanwhile, WWT Raceway and Circuit of the Americas are off of the schedule. Kansas is also down to one date.

Jonathan Fjeld is the co-owner of the The Racing Experts, LLC. He has been with TRE since 2010.
A Twin Valley, MN, native, Fjeld became a motorsports fan at just three years old (first race was the 2002 Pennsylvania 500). He worked as a contributor and writer for TRE from 2010-18. Since then, he has stepped up and covered 24 NASCAR race weekends and taken on a larger role with TRE. He became the co-owner and managing editor in 2023 and has guided the site to massive growth in that time.
Fjeld has covered a wide array of stories and moments over the years, including Kevin Harvick's final Cup Series season, the first NASCAR national series disqualification in over 50 years, Shane van Gisbergen's stunning win in Chicago and the first Cup Series race at Road America in 66 years – as well as up-and-coming drivers' stories and stories from inside the sport, like the tech it takes for Hendrick Motorsports to remain a top-tier team.
Currently, he resides in Albuquerque, N.M., where he works for KOB 4, an NBC station. He works as a digital producer and does on-air reports. He loves spending time with friends and family, playing and listening to music, exploring new places, being outdoors, reading books and writing among other activities.
