Jeb Burton discusses Talladega, future
Considered to be one of the “great equalizer” tracks, along with Daytona, smaller teams are aware of their chances for a higher-than-average finish at Talladega. Burton recognizes anything can happen in Sunday’s race.
“All hell can break loose,” he said. “It’s going to be a very stressful week next week.”
Burton’s career best finish is a 29th place effort at Martinsville in March earlier this season. He has been the highest finishing rookie three times this season, but not since Phoenix in March..
Burton is unsure if he will be returning to BK Racing in 2016.
“I’m not sure what my future holds right now, to tell you the truth,” he said. “Hopefully, I’ll be in a race car somewhere.”
Whether it’s a ride in the Sprint Cup Series, Xfinity Series or Camping World Truck Series, Burton told The Racing Experts he will consider rides in any of the top-three series.
“I’m open to anything, whatever comes my way,” he said. “I’ll see what the best opportunity is and go do it.”
