Jeff Gordon to race Sunday in Pro Invitational Series

Jeff Gordon will come out of “retirement” to compete in the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series, the four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion announced Wednesday (April 22).

Gordon, 48, will take on the virtual Talladega Superspeedway Sunday.

“I’m going to give it a try,” Gordon said. “We’ve been trying to get me behind the wheel of one of these sim rigs. I’m coming out of retirement, boys!”

The race at the virtual Talladega Superspeedway will be televised on FOX and FOX Sports 1 on Sunday, April 26.
