Logano earned his first win of 2024 and the 37th of his career, breaking a tie with former Team Penske teammate Brad Keselowski with the victory.

“Bobby Isaac is a legend in our sport, itโ€™s neat to keep climbing up through the record books,” Logano said. “I donโ€™t look at it that often. Itโ€™s cool to hear it.”

Isaac won 11 races en route to the 1970 championship, racking up his 37 wins from 1964 through 1972.

Logano has now won at least one race per season dating back to 2012, a 14-year streak.

All but two of Logano’s victories have come behind the wheel of the No. 22 Team Penske Ford.

Logano won his first race, a rain-shortened victory at New Hampshire in 2009, his rookie campaign in the Cup Series driving for Joe Gibbs Racing. His second win came in 2012 at Pocono with JGR before moving to Team Penske in 2013.

Logano shared what it mean to break the tie with his “great friend” in Keselowski, whom he raced with at Penske as teammate from 2013 to 2021.

“We came in at the same time, I always say he was a big part of getting me here to Team Penske,” Logano said. “He was the one that told Roger that, You get Joey to drive. I owe a lot to him for saying that.”

Ahead of Logano and Isaac on the wins list are Matt Kenseth and Tim Flock with 39 race wins, and Mark Martin at 40.
