Joey Logano ties Dale Junior, Fred Lorenzon on wins list
KANSAS CITY — Joey Logano’s victory in the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway Sunday (Oct. 18th) tied the Team Penske with Fred Lorenzon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. on the Cup Series wins list.
Logano held off Kevin Harvick for his third victory of 2020 and 26th of his premier series career.
“The No. 4 was fast, real fast, especially down the straightaways,” Harvick said. “I thought if I could hold him off the first 15 laps that I would have a chance. Dirty air was the best for us.”
Overall, Earnhardt Jr., Logano and Lorenzen are tied for 31st all-time.
The next drivers ahead of Logano on the wins list are Martin Truex Jr. (27), Carl Edwards (28), Rex White (28), Kurt Busch (32) and Dale Jarrett (32).
