Joey Logano wins pole at Atlanta, Fords sweep Top-8 spots

Joey Logano will lead the field to the green flag Sunday in the Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Logano posted a lap time of 31.256 seconds in the second round of qualifying Saturday. The Team Penske driver earned his 28th-career Cup Series pole.

Austin Cindric will start on the outside pole.

Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski and Aric Almirola rounded out the Top-5 starters.

Ford Performance drivers captured eight of the Top-10 starting spots, with Kevin Harvick, Chris Buescher and Chase Briscoe taking sixth through eighth.

Kyle Larson, the highest qualifying Chevrolet driver, will start ninth.

Christopher Bell, who spun out during his round two qualifying effort, was the highest qualifying Toyota. He will start 10th.

The Ambetter Health 400 is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET Sunday on FOX.
