John Hunter Nemechek to drive for Legacy Motor Club at Homestead-Miami

John Hunter Nemechek will drive the No. 42 Chevrolet this Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The October 22 Mobil 1 presents the 4Ever 400 will mark Nemechek’s debut with Legacy Motor Club. This comes as he will race full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series for the organization, beginning in 2024.

Carson Hocevar was named to drive the No. 42 for the final four races. However, co-owner Jimmie Johnson said they worked a deal out to get Hocevar in the car at Phoenix and Nemechek in at Homestead-Miami to gain some experience with the team.
