JRM finalizes 2027 full-time O’Reilly Series driver lineup
MOORESVILLE, N.C. — JR Motorsports have finalized their 2027 full-time NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series driver lineup one week before the end of the year with familiar faces.

Allgaier’s All-In
Justin Allgaier will return to JR Motorsports for his 17th season in the O’Reilly Series in 2027, extending his partnership with the organization for an 11th consecutive year behind the wheel of the No. 7.
The 40-year-old driver and longtime sponsor Brandt have both signed multi-year extensions to remain with the team as well.
Although Allgaier’s return had been heavily anticipated throughout the year, the announcement finally puts pen to paper after the veteran spent time contemplating retirement.
Before joining JR Motorsports, Allgaier spent five full-time seasons competing for Team Penske and Turner Scott Motorsports from 2009 to 2013. Across 170 starts, he collected three victories, 29 top-five finishes and 84 top tens.
Following two seasons in the NASCAR Cup Series, Allgaier returned to NASCAR’s second division in 2016 with JR Motorsports. The partnership has since developed into one of the series’ most successful driver-team combinations.
Across 362 starts together, Allgaier and JRM have recorded 31 victories, 159 top-five finishes and 241 top tens. Their success includes the 2024 series championship. Since their first season together in 2016, Allgaier has won at least once every year except his debut campaign with the organization in 2016.
In 2026, the veteran has shown no signs of slowing down. His series-leading six victories mark the most successful single-season win total of his career.
In a video released by JR Motorsports, Allgaier explained what ultimately led him to continue racing.
“At the beginning of the year I knew that it was a year I was gonna retire but, I wasn’t quite ready yet.”
Now, Allgaier turns his attention to Homestead-Miami Speedway, where he will battle four other championship-eligible drivers for his second career series title. He enters the season finale as the Chase leader, holding a 22-point advantage over Jesse Love in second.
Caruth Continues
Rajah Caruth will return to the team in 2027 with a full season in the No. 88 Chevrolet with sponsor HendrickCars.com.
The 24-year-old finally gets an entire season to display his talents in top tier equipment after spending time between JRM and Jordan Anderson Racing in 2026.
Caruth comes off a rookie campaign that failed to find victory lane through 32 starts.
While he misses out on that major statistic, he impressed the team enough by making the Chase with only 14 of the possible 24 regular season starts in the No. 88.
This season he has amassed two top-fives and nine-top tens, with two poles to his name as well.
He will look to broaden those numbers in 2027 alongside teammates Justin Allgaier, Carson Kvapil, and returning driver Sam Mayer.
