Allgaier led 119 laps en route to picking up his third Darlington Xfinity Series win.

“We’ve had such a heck of a year,” Allgaier said. “All in all, the day was good. Just proud of this team for sure.”

Allgaier swept the opening two stages at Darlington Raceway to tie him for 10th all-time with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Tommy Houston.

Coming home second, Austin Hill led twice for six laps, ultimately 3.4 seconds behind race winner Allgaier.

“I just gotta figure out what to do differently in Turn 1,” Hill said of what he could have done different. “I thought we were just as good as the No. 7, just that little bit off.”

Cole Custer, who started first, finished third. Sam Mayer and Aric Almirola rounded out the Top-5.
