Kasey Kahne finishes 15th in NASCAR return at Rockingham
Despite collecting damage in an early crash Saturday at Rockingham Speedway, Kasey Kahne collected a lead-lap finish in the North Carolina Education Lottery 250 in his first NASCAR start since 2018.

Kahne finished 15th after collecting damage in two wrecks and right-front fender damage.
Kahne, 45, made his return in Richard Childress Racing’s No. 33 Chevrolet, his first start in the series since 2017.
Despite starting fourth, the 8-time Xfinity Series winner was collected in a multi-car crash on Lap 53 in Turn 1 with William Sawalich and Katherine Legge.
Kahne fell a lap down but made up the lap via the free pass under a caution period in Stage 3.

Despite being involved in another crash in the closing laps, Kahne managed the Top-15 effort in his one-off race.
Kahne said he enjoyed his race but was unsure if more races will happen, but said there could be a chance to race with the team again.
