Kurt Busch’s victory at Kansas Speedway Sunday (May 15) marked the 23XI Racing driver’s first win of 2022 in the NASCAR Cup Series and the 34th of his career.

Busch is now in sole possession of 25th on the series’ all-time wins list, breaking a tie with Fireball Roberts.

“That’s the most gratifying part is to help these guys win,” Busch said of the team work that went into the win. “Billy Scott is a great crew chief and it’s a family here at 23XI. I love them.”

Busch extends his streak of winning at least one points-awarding race per season to nine consecutive.

Ahead of Busch on the wins list include Brad Keselowski (35), Bobby Isaac (37), Tim Flock (39), Matt Kenseth (39) and Mark Martin (40).

The next points-awarding Cup Series race is scheduled for Sunday, May 29, at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
