Kurt Busch will not race again

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. — Kurt Busch said Saturday he is officially retired from racing, citing doctors’ orders.
Doctors told Busch he would never be able to race again.
The 2004 NASCAR Cup Series champion hasn’t been cleared to race since a wreck in qualifying at Pocono Raceway in July last year.
That October in Las Vegas, he announced he wouldn’t return to race full-time in 2023. Tyler Reddick took over his ride.
Busch had plans to run some races, should he get cleared. However, with doctors’ recent orders, that will never happen.
