Kyle Busch Motorsports sues REV Racing
Kyle Busch Motorsports is suing Rev Racing, alleging Rev did not properly pay for their technical alliance.
Attorneys for KBM filed the lawsuit February 12.
Court documents show KBM accuses Rev of breach of contract, seeking $325,000 to make up for payments Rev allegedly did not fulfill. They’re also seeking $48,750 for interest on late payments.
The parties signed an agreement in October 2022, contracting KBM to serve as Rev’s technical partner for the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. KBM’s services included covering race entry fees for Rev and providing them with trucks, personnel and equipment to race each weekend.

For these services, Rev was to pay KBM in “10 equal monthly installments of $290,000 each,” due by the 15th day of each month, starting Jan. 15, 2023.
KBM alleges Rev made late payments eight times:
January (25 days late), February (six days), March (one day), April (15 days), May (17 days), June (16 days), July (47) and August (77)
Rev is also accused of providing half of a payment for September, 47 days late, before allegedly not paying at all for October.
KBM stated Rev later made a payment of $110,000. However, they say Rev still owes them $325,000 for what they didn’t pay in September and October.
KBM allegedly reached out to Rev, through counsel late last month, to collect the payment within a week. However, Rev allegedly didn’t respond, prompting legal action.
