LAS VEGAS — Kyle Busch led the final eight laps of the Boyd Gaming 300 Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, cruising to his 93rd career win of his Xfinity Series career.

Busch earned his first Xfinity Series victory of 2019, stretching his streak of at least one victory per season in the series to seven consecutive.

Busch, who won the Truck Series’ Strat 200 Friday night, will be looking to sweep the weekend, dubbed “the trifecta,” in Sunday’s Pennzoil 400. He’s accomplished the feat twice.

“I thought this would be the toughest of the three,” Busch said of winning Saturday. “We had a fast race car but we could never get the balance even in the race right there. I was either way too tight or way too loose, I could never find a happy medium.

“Overall, I feel like the Cup car is pretty good.”

Busch has now scored 197 total wins across the top three national touring NASCAR series with 51 in the Cup Series, 93 in the Xfinity Series and 53 in the Truck Series.

Busch is the all-time wins leader in the Truck Series and Xfinity Series and sits 11th all-time on the Cup Series wins list.
