Landon Huffman to make NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series return at North Wilkesboro
Landon Huffman will drive the No. 75 Chevrolet for Henderson Motorsports at North Wilkesboro Speedway. It will be his first start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in seven years.
Huffman is the son of former Goody’s Dash Series driver Robert Huffman, who also co-owns the family’s late model team.
Huffman is a weekly competitor at Hickory Motor Speedway, but also is a full time competitor in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour driving for Carroll Speedshop.
He has made five starts in the Tour at North Wilkesboro. His best finish is a sixth in 2025.
Huffman’s prior starts in the Truck Series all came on short tracks or dirt which will give him a boost as well getting back in the series. His best finish is a 16th place finish which he scored at Bristol in 2019.
Henderson which is one of the few teams not based in North Carolina will be making their third start of the season. The team previously ran at Daytona with Corey LaJoie who finished 34th, and at Coronado with Parker Kligerman who finished 18th.
Henderson has also made two starts at North Wilkesboro previously. Stefan Parsons gave them their best finish at the track in 2024 with a 17th place finish.
Huffman will also carry primary sponsorship from BaldEagle.com which is owned by Cleetus McFarland.
Huffman will try to beat his best career finish in the Truck Series on July 18, and will join other notable names such as Ryan Newman in competing in the 250 lap race.
