Logano, Truex top final practice

HOMESTEAD, Fla. — Title contenders Joey Logano and Martin Truex Jr. led final Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice Saturday at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Logano, who won the opening practice Friday, posted the fastest lap time in Saturday’s session with a time of of 31.45 seconds (171.701 mph). Truex posted the second fastest time at 31.616 seconds (170.584 mph).
Brad Keselowski, Erik Jones and Aric Almirola rounded out the top-five fastest drivers.
The other Championship 4 drivers, Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick, finished 12th and 14th respectively.
Logano and Denny Hamlin, the pole sitter for the Ford EcoBoost 400, ran the most laps (60).
Timmy Hill, driver of the No. 66 Toyota, was the only driver to not post a lap time in the session.
The Ford EcoBoost 400 will be televised live on NBC at 2:30 p.m. ET Sunday.
