Martin Truex Jr. becomes 114th winner in Trucks

Martin Truex Jr. is the latest driver to earn a victory in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Truex’s victory in the Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt at the Bristol Motor Speedway Dirt Track Monday (March 29) was his first in his third career start in the series, and his first since 2006.
“You always expect to win when you come to the race track, I’m pleasantly surprised to say the least,” Truex said.
“We came here this weekend and I wanted to run this truck just to get some experience and try to help with the Cup car. Who would have thought that I would get my first Truck Series victory on dirt.”
Truex is now a winner in each of NASCAR’s top-three national touring series, including the 114th different winner in the Truck Series.
Other active drivers with one victory in the series include Tyler Ankrum, Spencer Boyd, Todd Gilliland, Kaz Grala, Raphael Lessard and Sam Meyer.
Truex is tied with 40 other drivers for 74th on the series’ all-time wins list.
