Martin Truex Jr. earned his second NASCAR Cup Series win of 2023 and 33rd of his career Sunday at Sonoma, tying Fireball Roberts on the all-time wins list.

Truex also earned his 33rd career Cup win, tying 2014 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Fireball Roberts for 26th on the seriesโ€™ all-time wins list.

Truex led the final 14 laps en route to his fourth win at Sonoma Raceway.

โ€œJust a total team effort,โ€ Truex said. โ€œEverybody works really, really hard. We were awful here last year, and at road courses in general, so to come back here โ€“ this has kind of been a playground for us before, and to be able to get back here with this car and do it again feels really, really special. It’s really gratifying.โ€

Now ahead of Truex on the wins list are Kurt Busch (34), Brad Keselowski (35), Bobby Isaac (37), Tim Flock (39) and Matt Kenseth (39).

Richard Petty leads the series in all-time wins at 200. Rounding out the Top-5 are David Pearson (105), Jeff Gordon (93), Bobby Allison (84), and Darrell Waltrip (84).
